about how we hire and what to expect when you apply?

Candidates have greater success when their experience strongly matches our job requirements, so make sure the skills and achievements on your application align with the job description.

Applications are read by real humans who are both experts in interpreting resumes and are familiar with our jobs within a talent segment, not just the one you applied for.

The interviewing process is intended to help us make sure we hire people who will thrive in our environment. Steps vary by each team but typically include an initial phone call screen followed by a hiring manager interview either on the phone or in person.

If you are selected and you agree it is a good fit for you as well, the hiring manager will be in touch with you and guide you through the onboarding steps.

Once you’ve signed your offer and your first day is scheduled, training will take place at our Portland headquarters. You will be provided with job-specific training, the tools and supplies needed for your job, and a general overview of everything that goes into creating a Mailbox Merchants package from selling the advertising to its final delivery in the local consumer’s mailbox.

Mailbox Merchants is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and affirmative action employer. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, disability status, or any other applicable characteristics protected by law.
